Texas Tree House Amenities

The Texas Tree House is TWO blocks from the bay and Kingfisher Park which contains a great beach for kids, lighted fishing pier, beach volleyball, pavilion and other features. Wifi and DirecTV are included along with TVs in the Living, Mahi Mahi, Sea Shell, and Jolly Roger Rooms. There is locakable storage and a charcoal BBQ pit on the ground level as well as the following appliances: washer/dryer, electric stove, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker (no filters needed), and central air/heat.

  • Bedroom One (Sea Turtle): 1 Queen Bed, 1 set of Twin XL (36" X 80") over Twin XL BunkBed
  • Bedroom Two (Mahi Mahi): 1 Queen Bed with Private Bath
  • Bedroom Three (Coral Reef): 2 Sets of Twin XL over Twin XL BunkBeds

Total # of Beds in Entire House: 11 Beds

Rental includes bed and bath linens, hand soap, bar soap, dishwashing soap and dishwasher detergent (where applicable). Linens are limited to those on hand. For longer stays, you can request an optional housekeeping/laundry service. Guests should bring personal toiletries, beach towels, food, and paper towels, if desired. Provided linens cannot be removed or used outside the property.

Groceries

The nearest full service grocery store is the HEB in Port Lavaca 30 miles away. It is recommended that you stop on your way in either Port Lavaca, Rockport, or Victoria to buy groceries for your stay.

The Speedy Stop on SH 185 (Adams St) & 16th St. in POC has a reasonably good stock of groceries and sundries as well as very reasonable prices on ice.

The owners of the Texas Tree House have constructed a duck blind at  28.393597, -96.406149 which is accessible from a dock at 28.393347, -96.407276.  It is on public waters and thus available to anyone.
